Friday Night Chips

Hope that Murdoch was able to find a fellow W. Virginia fan to take a "rally shot" with as the Mountaineers trailed by 3 at half. I have to assume it worked as WV outscored Pitt 21-0 in the second half.

Tonight, I have to go with Central Michigan -4 at Northern Illinois. N. Ill is reeling right now...and there is no end in sight. They are going up against a Cent. Mich. team that just clinched the MAC West crown and is looking to send a message that they are the cream of the crop in the West now. As you know, N. Ill is the reigning West champ, but now they are struggling to finish above .500. Everyone is stacking the box against Wolff and the N. Ill running game and forcing them to air it out (p.s. they're not good at it). Cent. Mich. will do the same and they will have no trouble scoring against a pourous defense that will constantly be losing the field position battle. I expect this game to be close for a half until Cent. Mich wears them down....and then wins by double digits.

As an added note, I am going to give you my NBA game of the night. Take Portland +7 at Boston in a game they problem win.
