maybe this is cliche, and maybe you could say i'm a mountaineer homer now, but i see no way of them not absolutely rolling on the bearcats at home this week. sure last week was a big loss, and hey, with rutgers beating louisville last night it may even look a little worse. let's not forget that last week loss was in the pizza box, for louisville, thier biggest home game since pervis ellison wasnt getting nervous. too think that the bearcats can come in to morgantown and stay with a motivaged mountaineer team is something entirely different.
cinci is 101st in the nation in scoring (playing the same big east teams our mountaineers are averaging 40 on) and so far is 0-3 on the road this year.
and yes, i know they're 6-1 ats. maybe getting a little too much credit now if you ask me. the line in this should be closer to something in the mid20s. if you recall last year the mountaineers laid 13.5 before shutting out the little bearcats 38-0. on the road.
cincinatti's strength has been shutting down the run, but that aint gonna work here. quality teams have been able to run on them with results, and nobody runs the ball like our boys. wv is going to be motivated for revenge after last week and will prove that they deserve a BCS bowl.
