Friday night action

Not to steal the thunder from Murdoch's West Virginia pick for Saturday (below), I am going to give a read on tonight's UTEP v. UAB game.

My money is on UTEP +2. UTEP needs this game to remain bowl eligible and they are coming off 3 straight losses coming into tonight's matchup. UAB also needs to win to keep their hopes alive for a bowl, but they put up no effort at all last week losing 22-9 to SMU. UTEP has a better offense, especially with Palmer throwing it very well this year and UAB can't stop the pass...smells like a recipe for disaster. Oh, and Price is the better coach and wins no matter where he is at. 4 game losing streaks DON'T happen on his watch...and it won't happen tonight. Wrong team favored in this one. UTEP covers and most likely wins.
