NBA Friday

Just can't seem to get over the hump again as we are treading water so far this week. Still that is better than losing I guess. Well hopefully a couple Friday night NBA games will jumpstart us into another HUGE weekend:

First, take the Spurs -2 1/2 at New Jersey. The Nets just can't match up with the Spurs. Who is going to guard Duncan? Ginobli? On the other hand, the Nets have been playing well, but VC is still banged up and that is not good against the physical Spurs. We know that Bruce Bowen will take one Net out of the game and most likely that will be VC, and when VC is shut down, the Nets struggle big time. Look for the Spurs to run away with this one.

I also am a big fan of Washington -2 at home against Cleveland. Yes, Cleveland has been playing good lately, but so has Washington. Arenas is pissed off about being left off the all-star team and he is taking it out on the competition (45 last game). And Jameson is rouding into quite the 2-3 option. Washington, at home, will be too much for this Cavs team that (although theri record is a bit gaudy), they aren't really that much of a threat on the road against quality teams.

Also, from Dr. Moonlight, we have an under play for you. Take the Atlanta/Seattle under tonight at 216. I don't have his full analysis, but I there are some things to point out. First, Seattle is a shell of the team that they were last year and the numbers prove it. Atlanta is also pretty weak, especially on the road. Very good chance only one team makes triple digits in this one...take the under:

MURDOCH:

I'll add on Sacramento +9 at Phoenix. has anyone noticed the kings have won three straight? two out of those 3 were 18 pt blowouts. too many points to give a hot team.
