yesterday was not a good day for pilotpicks. first, we were informed by our google advertisers that they would not be paying us the money they owed us for running their garbage on our site. this was followed by watching aaron brooks, possibly the nfl's dumbest quarterback, make boneheaded play after bonehead play. following the game we must have got probably 10 to 12, 'you suck,' postings, including one as soon as the final whistle blew. besides our boy pk, no one who writes in to be negative has ever signed their own name. way to take a stand guys. and writing this now, i just got another,
you guys f***ing suck! i got a good bet for the both of you. i'll bet you continue to lose the rest of the way and wind up at just about 50% like the rest of the average gamblers, losing on the juice. Do yourselves, and the rest of us a favor, and quit while we're ahead.
the result of all this has been that;
1. we're not making any money off advertising anymore
2. as soon as you lose a couple of games everyone comes out of the woodwork to bash you.
going 50/50 for a couple of weeks is not the end of the world, especially taking into consideration a track record around 70% in the six weeks before that. i still believe that the birdman and i will kill in the bowl season.
however, for now, going forward i will probably only be posting on a very limited basis, as this seems to be what our anonyous friends want.
