Great makeup game last night, dont like having an L on my board, even if it's only one, so it's good to get back to .500 for sunday. and everyone will take a .500 day following the massive saturday we had a pilot picks. our best saturday bet was unfortunately only available to a small group of dr. moonlight's insiders, when we took fresno +30. gonna be enjoying that win next saturday afternoon...

speaking of dr. moonlight, he appreciates all the letters of concern that have come following his late saturday night alteraction. he thnaks everyone who has written in supporting his efforts to fight fascism, and has promised more insider wins this week.

but, onto tonight. the birdman wants no part of either game, and there is no number that jumps out at me as patently wrong like that ridiculously low over last night, however, i do think we have some room to work with.

Miami of Ohio travels to athens to take on the bobcats following an embarassment last week at home against bowling green. they were in a terrible situation, playing after an enormous storm soaked the field for three hours in front of an empty stadium but that shouldnt give any excuse for 7 turnovers. seven. they looked flat, another national tv game is the chance to prove that they're not that team that got drilled at home against BG. they'll come out readyto play against a bobcat d that's 11th in the MAC against the pass. the red hawks have the #1 passing offense. sounds like a mismatch to me.

ohio was not effective running the ball at all last week against akron (11 yards). when they get down they'll be forced to the air, and that's when Miami will pile it on. this game may be close in the first, but it wont for long. and finally, what does 11 rushing yards in a game indicate to you? to me, that shows that they quit. and just ask syracause and northwestern what we do to quitters at pilotpicks.
