well gentlemen, it's that time of the year again. nothing better than summer turning into fall and starting off the season with a couple of winners.
LSU will be an absolute beast this year with glenn dorsey leading a defense that will be heavy on returning starters and nfl talent. matt flynn lit up miami a few years ago in a spot start, and as a 5th year senior he knows the offense. miss state hasnt played within 30 of lsu in the last few years and this time it will be no different.
LSU -18 (**)
i for one have not seen enough out of kent state to think that they can go into a big 12 school, no matter how bad, and stay within a field goal.
ISU -3.5 (*)
the birdman and i both like navy and syracuse (ugh) for friday. i think he'll be posting his writeups then.

Tulsa was never in doubt...neither was LSU. Too bad Iowa State sucks (good thing they were the small bet).
