Although Ok State tried to screw us, the Birdman's Bowl Game of the Year goes to 6-0!!! Now, you will have to trust me on this...I just spent about 45 minutes on a post only to have an "error" erase it all, so in order to get the games in on time, here are my picks with one-line analysis:
Clemson -10 (**)
Better team on both sides of the ball.
Missouri +4 (**)
Flu bug affected no starters...Ore St was outgained by every good opponent they played.
Houston +5 (***)
Houston has the "Fun & Gun", not Spurrier's Gamecocks.
Maryland Over 53 (***)
Two bad defenses + solid offenses + bowl game = lots of points.
Maryland +1 (**)
Purdue beat 0 teams with a winning record this season...Maryland is 8-4.
Texas Tech -7 (****)
Tech has the 3rd rated passing offense...Minn has the 115th passing defense. Nuff said.
