NFL Sunday--10/8/06

Sorry for the lack of posts yesterday, but I am going to make it up with three winners today.

Washington +6
First, go with Washington +6 against the Giants. This is a case of two teams going in completely opposite directions. Washington appears to be grasping Al Saunders offense, which means that, like the Rams and Chiefs before them, the Skins are going to put up lots of points. The G-men dont exactly have a great defense to stop it. And, there is too much controversy on the Giants to lay this number against a good Skins team. Giants might lose this game.

Cleveland +8
Next, go with Cleveland +8 against Carolina. How long can a team live off its preseason hype? That is what we are curious about. Yes, the Panthers were supposed to be special. But, they are not. They have not looked like a good team this season and Cleveland at least plays with some heart. The Browns won't win this game, but they keep it within the number.

Kansas City -3
Finally, go with the Chiefs -3 at Arizona. The Chiefs have not allowed a TD in 10 quarters...yes, you read that correctly. Now, they get to take their blitzing style against a rookie QB in his first start...not pretty for pretty boy. Expect a healthy dose of Larry Johnson which should lead the Chiefs to an EASY victory.
