Thursday night NCAA

Not a huge fan of the slate tonight, but I would let down Murdoch if I didn't throw down on Thursday night's action: So...

First, take TCU -5 against BYU. Last year's game was the closest thing TCU came to a loss in 13 games and don't think they have forgotten it. BYU has a nice little team, but they will not be able to keep up with the Horned Frogs in this one. The TCU defense should slow down the potent against bad defensive teams attack of BYU while their offense should not have trouble scoring on BYU's open door policy with their endzone. I feel a 14 point victory for TCU in a game that won't be as close as the score.

Next, go with S. Carolina +14 at home against Auburn. I know that Auburn is a "great" team, but I am not so sure about their offense. Numbers aside, they did not do ANYTHING against LSU and I am not sure they will be able to cover this number agaisnt a pretty good S. Carolina team at home. I have a feeling Spurrier is going to pull something out of his butt to keep this one close. Watch Auburn win in a slow, boring, defensive struggle.

TCU -5 & South Carolina +14 (* each)
