just had a conversation with the birdman about tonight's Miami-FSU game. we took opposite sides on teams and totals, which means that this is going to be a pass for pilotpicks.
HOWEVER, during our conversation, i mentioned that i have a favorite game lined up for next saturday already. he told me did too. turned out they were both the same. Texas Tech, laying 7 at UTEP.
a full write up for this will be coming in as the week progress, but the basics are this; Jordan Palmer throws picks like no one, Tech's D improves every year,and one TD is not enough here.

As Murdoch already mentioned, I do love this game. Don't buy into UTEP's upset potential as Tech's offense will score AT WILL against the miners porous "D". Also, as Murdcoh eluded to, there probably isn't a more overrated QB in college football than Jordan Palmer. Just b/c his brother is a great QB does not mean he is. Tech completely shut down SMU on Sat as they coasted to a 35-3 victory (predicted here on PilotPicks). I know it was SMU, but UTEP isn't exactly Texas. Texas Tech will R-O-L-L!!! I woudl suggest jumping on this line early as it should be up to 10 by the start of the game.
Also, I hear that the Sixth Man has already scouted his favorite game of the week and says there was a serious line mistake on it. We will release it as soon as he finalizes it.
