Sometimes you need to take a few steps back and refocus and that is exactly what I did the past week and a half. I did not bet a single game, but I watched countless games. I return now with a greater focus and sharper analysis for the games. I needed to refresh before heading into March Madness and here it is with a BIG RETURN NIGHT OF THE BIRDMAN:
Take Wisconsin +7 at Michigan State. The lines on Mich St are getting out of hand. Could someone explain how a team that has lost 4 of 5 is giving up 7 points to a team in the Big 10 title hunt. Wis has WON 4 of 5 and they are hot right now. Oh, and don't forget that Wis beat them by 19 earlier in the year when Mich St was playing decent. It has gotten so bad that Izzo beanched Davis (he of the pouty face) in their last game...not good. Take the Badgers and take them BIG...
Wisconsin +7 (****)
Next, take USC +7 at Stanford. Stan is very ho-hum this season...they are 14-11 and their average margin of victory is 2 points. USC on the other hand is playing well and are 17-10 overall (including a winning record on teh road). They have won 2 of 3 including an upset victory over UCLA as 6 point favorites. Bottom line is that Stanford is not playing for anything, however USC is trying to stay hot for tourney time...Senior night will only go so far as USC plays with a lot more fire in this one. Take the points, but don't be suprised to see them win straight up!
