Well, I am feeling hot right now, but I don't want to go crazy and I don't see a whole lot on the board tonight that jumps out at me as being "can't miss"...however, that being said, I do have a couple low-star games:
First, go ahead and take Texas -11 1/2 tonight at Missouri. Missouri is not good...simple as that as they have dropped three in a row after their upset of KU including one at home by 24 against Iowa State...the same Iowa State who Texas beat, in Ames, by 20. Texas is superior at all aspects of the game and they should absolutely dominate this Tigers squad. The Tigers showed some heart for a couple of games, but have once again fallen apart and Quin Snyder has lost all control of this team. Texas is coming off a loss to Oklahoma so they will be ready to pounce on this Tiger team tonight. TX has covered 7 straight against the Tigers and they will make it 8 tonight.

Next, take a little team I like to call Boston College +5 at home against Dick Vitale's favorite team...the Dukies. As the now-famous quote goes, "Well, certainly Duke is Duke...they're on TV more than Leave it to Beaver reruns..." But tonight they face a team that matches up well with them. BC's strength lies in their front line and Duke is most vulnerable when they are going up against a strong front line (see Georgetown). The line could be "well, certainly Duke is 'soft'"...because Shelden Williams looks like a can't miss big guy against the Virginia's of the world, but put him up against a couple defenders that aren't afraid of him and, as another famous line goes, "that boy ain't got it." The rest of their team is just as soft...the one with the most balls is JJ and that does not say much about Duke. JJ will get his, but against a tough, fast BC defense I think "his" will be on a poor shooting night. BC will pound the hell out of the Dukies tonight and beat them up to the point where Duke is out of their element.
Haven't done one of these in a while, but...Wrong Team Favored in This One, Take Boston College +5 STRAIGHT UP!!!

What are you smoking Birdman! Come on! Let's look at something...BC got throtteled by Georgia Tech and then barely beat them ontheir own home court. And GT is by no means a Duke. And then to say they beat them straight up????WOW! Just not so sure about this game. Ther are a lot of better games to tell people to put their hard earned money on.

that's the risk/reward of taking the moneyline vs. playing it safe and taking the points.
For those who haven't been on this site for long, when I say Straight up, I recommend betting the game with the points, however...also you can take the money line (in addition) as a smaller play.
Wow, BC is getting inside buckets all day, but they keep throwing the ball away...no way they should be down 10. They better get back in it!!!
Whatever it is that I am smoking, I guess I need to continue to do so as the birdman is flying high with 6 straight victories and 8 of 9 overall!!! I guess people who followed pilotpicks doubled their "hard earned" money last night as it was a clean 2-0 sweep!!
BC covered, but got "homered" on their own court. Duke shot 37 free throws to BC's 13!! That is absurd...and the no call at the end when Shelden Williams hammered BC's guy going in for a layup was a crime...but, BC covered the spread so I can't be too mad however it would have been nice to hit the predicted straight up win.
