Saturday, Part 3 -- College BBall Game of the Month

Here we go with the final leg of this HUGE Saturday. But first, as you know we had some difficulty and our first post was accidently erased for some unknown reason. But, this did not happen until after both our selections had tipped off. And what a great pair of games...Uconn -4 (**) covered as they won by 8 and so did our big 4* Miami +1 (****)...great start. Then upon putting up this post, it erased our second post. In that post we gave you Ohio State -12 (**) and K-State -3 (**). Ohio State won by 14 and K-State is tied at half right now. Well onto the final three games:

First, take Georgia +10 at Vanderbilt. Did I miss the memo where Vandy became a powerhouse? I must have because there is no way that they should be laying double digits at home against a middle of the road SEC team...b/c that is what Vandy is too. And last time I checked, Vandy was not exactly Cameron Indoor. This is absurd that Vandy could be laying 10. Georgia is 13-8 overall and a very impressive 12-6 ATS this season and once again, they are not getting enough respect...take Georgia and watch them keep this one very close:

Next go with San Diego State -2 at Colorado State. The line is currently 2 1/2, but I suggest buying it down because it is good practice to always buy 2 1/2 down to 2 just to be safe. This line makes no sense...San Diego State is playing very well right now, and Colorado State is playing terribly. Colorado St. is still getting credit for its early victories over big schools such as COlorado and apparently no one is paying attention to the fact that they have lost their last 7 of 8 while San Diego St. has won 8 of their last 9 including three of those on the road. Quick common opponents: Colorado St. lost to BYU by 2, Wyoming by 5, TCU by 13, UNLV by 11, and New Mexico by 8...MEANWHILE, San Diego St. beat BYU by 17, Wyoming by 1, TCU by 19, UNLV by 6, and New Mexico by 6!!!!!!! This is entirely too much to over look...San Diego State will win this one by double digits

COLLEGE BBALL GAME OF THE MONTH!!!
Take Creighton tonight -2 1/2 at Drake. This line is CRAZY!! Why is Creighton, one of the best teams in the MVC only a 2 1/2 point favorite over lowly Drake??? It makes no sense at all. They are under .500 and are only 7-5 at home this season while Creighton is 15-5 and playing great after they struggled in the beginning of the season. Drake has lost 4 in a row and 5 of 6 while Creighton has won 9 of 10 with their only loss coming at S. Ill. In fact, Drake's only 2 wins in their past 8 games have both come against the terrible Indiana State Sycamores. Creighton is still fighting for post season and for the conference crown (currently they are in first place, but they CAN'T slip up or N. Iowa could overtake them) while Drake is just playing out the season. Creighton has also won the past three matchups between these two teams and they will have no problem winning this one as well. Creighton wins this game going away.
