Saturday, First Post

I have 4 games total for you today including the College Basketball Lock of the Year going tonight. I have four really strong plays today instead of stretching it out over 7-8 games. And I really love these games. ALL OF THEM ARE 3* OR BETTER!!! This first post will have two afternoon games and the second post will be up by 6pm Central and contain two night games. Here we go:

First, take Nebraska -4 at home against Tex Tech. This is the 6th Man's favorite game of the day. Don't look now, but Nebraska is on a bit of a roll and are playing a Tech team that is absolutely miserable on the road as they are 1-7 with their only win coming at San Diego State. Tex T hasn't won on the road in the big 12 all year and they are playing a team that is pretty darn tough to beat at home. Also, Nebraska is 16-8 and still fighting for an NCAA bid, while Tech is completely out of it. I am not saying that the General's squad has given up, but they won't have the fire Nebraska does. Nebraska should win this going away:

Next, go with Florida +1 at Arkansas. I know that Florida has been a big pick of mine this season, and barring their one setback on this postboard, they are 2-1 when we pick them. FLorida is finally starting to piece it together and they just have too much size and athleticism for Arkansas. Arkansas is a good story this season, but they just can't match up with the Gators. And the fact that the Gators are getting points? The Gators are one of those teams that does not live up to expectations when they are the favorite...but they always seem to thrive when people start doubting them. Today will be another example. Look for Florida to win this game by 5-10 points.
