First off, take Tex Tech as was stated in an earlier post. Tex. Tech has too much offense in this one and Alabama will struggle to score enough against Texas Tech's improved defense. Texas Tech won't put up 50, but they won't need to.

I have been a big fan of West VIrginia all year, but I can't imagine why they are only getting 6 1/2 points against Georgia in Atlanta today. W. Vir has only played one elite team all year and in that game, they were manhandled by Virginia Tech by 17 at home. Georgia is every bit as good as Virginia Tech, and they are playing a pseudo home game. Georgia has the quickness on defense to force West Vir to pass, which they can't do. Georgia is the team to take in this one.

I also like Iowa as a PK against Florida. Iowa is a tough team with a physical style of play that just does not suit Florida. Florida was shut down by the elite defenses they play as Chris Leak is just not the right quarterback for Meyer's system. They will sputter on offense against a smash mouth style of play that Iowa brings. I also feel that Iowa's offense will be able to consistently move the ball against a very inconsistent defense. Finally, I just can't shake the feeling that Iowa is way more excited for this game.

Well, I hate to say it, but Prologic has hit the nail on the head with his Ohio State prediction. I told you earlier that we would have one game after the New Year that is a very strong play. Ohio State is that pick. In this game, there is two offenses that can score at will, but only one team has a defense. Ohio State will be able to hold ND down enough to win this game. ND hasn't seen a defense anywhere near this good (remember they only put up 17 agaisnt MICH). Ohio State's 2 losses, against TX by 3 and at Penn State by 7 are not bad at all. This line is lower than it should be based upon Weis and the fact that ND almost beat USC. Well, so did Fresno...and Ari State... Ohio State is the better team and ND will not be able to stop them with their putrid defense.

What scares me about Georgia is the incredible Bowl record 6 & 2 ATS LAST 8, but the line is moving in Virginia favor and is now at +7.5. Grab them at +8 or above.
Virginia D is just as good and with the low total look for this one to be closer then thought.

I have given some horrible picks as of late and there are no excuses. Perhaps I got a little lazy in my research. Whatever teh reason, it doesn't diminish the fact that we had a great run this year (up until recently).
I gave out my last picks yesterday and Murdoch will be bringing us home with the final 2 games of the bowl season.

My comments were not meant to mean that I will not be posting picks on other sports, just that I am not going to pick the last two bowl games. We will still have NFL playoff games and after that, dabble in basketball.
I just want to make sure that everyone knows that I have no negitive comments for anyone, the game is played with an abalone ball, shit happens.
BM & M break the games down well and with logic, I just have a different take at time, and let it be known and well I am on a bit of a roll. Like I hated TT against Alabama.
