OU v. ORE

Well, now that GT laid a big egg today, we have to move on to OU v. ORE.

Take OU +3 1/2 in this one. OU finally has a healthy Peterson and he will be able to control the clock running behind a steadily improving offensive line. Also, Bomar has been consistently been gettting more confidence and playing better. OU has won 5 out of their last 6 with the only loss being when they were screwed at Tex Tech by the officials. OU finished with the 2nd best D in the Big 12 (behind TX) even though after their first 4 games, they were 10th. They improved all year long and will have enough to shut down this overrated ORE team. On ORE, I can't help but think that they will fall into the trap that has gotten so many other teams that got screwed out of a BCS matchup (Cal, K-State, Tex, etc.). These teams do not play well. Also, I am not buying into the Pac 10 as a "power" conference. Who did ORE beat? No one worth a crap. I always like Stoops when he has a month to prepare for a soft Pac 10 team (See Washington State, Ore last year, etc. as examples)...OU will win this game.
