the birdman and i have a transatlantic flight this afternoon so we'll putting our MNF pick in early. the eagles have pretty much packed it in the season, have covered once out of their last 7 (including a SU & ATS win last week against the mighty packers) and see no reason they'd be able to tonight against one of the league's top offenses. this last place team is giving up more than they score (including back when they had T.O. and Donovan) and wil continue to do so tonight. seattle has won 9 out of their last 10. this game should be more like SEA-7 but i guess people still dont think the seahawks are for real. the birdman and i know they are. i always buy the hook on 3.5 and will again tonight.
No T.O. + No McNabb + Shaun Alexander = Seattle Rolls.
SEA -3 (**)
as a note, mcnabb is the most over hyped player in the nfl. that guy put up no numbers (avg. 18 TD passes a year his first 5) for the amount of talk he gets. t.o. shows up and he suddenly has more than 21 for only the second time in his career. who really made the difference there?

How did you come up with a 5 * Sunday? Viking (+3) + Cinnci (+2)+ KC (+1) = +6 now subtract Browns(-2) and 49ers over (-3) = -5 so you ended up with +1 stars
you're right anonymous, should not be 5* yesterday. should be +3, counting both of our bengals picks seperately.
I agree with this post, but have you taken into consideration the emotional impact that retiring Reggie Whites jersey will have? What do you think of the U/O? I have heard the under is a good play.
I don't think retiring the number of a gay basher will turn McMahon and Brown into Montana and Rice. Also, Gado ran for 111 yards on Philli last week. Gado is no Alexander. I keep hearing the Philli D described as opportunistic...is this the same as calling a defense "bend but don't break" because it gets lucky with a few turnovers or field goal attempts after letting a team drive all over them? Seattle by 10 in this one (however, I like Murdoch bought the half point to make it -3...why risk a late touchdown or something that could make a push a loss?)
As for the over/under, that is more Murdoch's specialty, but I don't think he has a strong play either way.
the eagles are gonna wish they had the minister of defense tonight because they'll need to really slow down the seahawks to have any shot w/their anemic offense.
I agree that Donny is an overhyped quarterback but you said that T.O. made the difference...well, that is because before that Donovan had James Trash and Todd Stinkston. Donovan is overhyped but he is still a top 5 QB behind P. Manning, D.Brees, J. Delhomme and M. Hasselback...he's definitely better than Vick...Vick is a RB that sometimes throws the ball.
thrash and pinkston are terrible, i'll agree with that. but look at what say, trent green, has been able to do with equally mediocre recievers in a run oriented offense.
you gotta have carson palmer in your top five dont you? cant forget about tom brady either.
J. Delhomme in your top 5 really?
