It's Bowl Time!!!

Not a great Sunday for the birdman as Pitt rolled, but so did Washington (where did that a** kicking come from?). The Arizona game was just bad luck in that Arizona had a 10-7 lead when Kurt Warner left the game (his stats at the time were 10-10, 120 yards passing, and one touch and no picks). He was having his way with their defense, but once he left the game, Ari had 3 turnovers in their territory in their next 4 possessions. To top that off, any chance of a comback of 14 at half was shot down by McCown not returning b/c of the flu and Ari resorted to putting in their 3rd string QB. This was not anticipated when I made the pick. Sometimes, bad luck hits you.

However, the good news is that it is the first week of the bowl season and we will have a selection on EVERY game (but some will just be preferences as some bowls are pretty random). Also, it is finally time to release my BOWL GAME OF THE YEAR as any injury or otherwise now is too unlikely to hold this game any longer. I will release it tomorrow, along with my other favorites for the bowl season.

Also, me and murdoch will come together with others to release our consensus Bowl Game of the Year (which will be different from my game of the year--for those who don't know, I released my college football game of the year with TCU winning and later we released Tulsa as our Consensus game of the year, also a winner--Both were VERY EASY winners).
