lay the points and take the bears -6.5 at green bay. with grossman back the bears will be able to supply more on the offensive side of the ball, and their defense wont need any more than favre and his league leading 23 picks to get a score or two of their own. plus, dont forget gado is out for the already ravaged pack.

The pick was clearly correct at that spread- but when posted I can't find any book under 7.5 pts. Can you guys verify where you get your spreads?
i know the birdman and myself both use a number of different books because lines shift from place to place. today i know the akron over is moving up, but you can still find it some places listed at 49. i got it at 50.5. this is a good resource for finding the number you like.

I bet this game on betjamaica.com about 2 hours before the game and got the line at 7 but bought it down to 6 1/2.
For future reference if there is a line in the NFL that is 3 1/2 or 7 1/2, ALWAYS buy the half point to make it 3 or 7. The NFL has so many instances like the CHI game where the line will end up right around this number. Also, while I don't do this when the line is 3 very often, might consider buying a half point to make a 3 or 7 point spread 2 1/2 or 6 1/2 as I did last night.
