Big Sunday

Well, we were 1-1 with Saturday plays as the Chiefs played perhaps their worst game of their year. In the words of Dick Vermeil, "I didn't recognize that team out there. They weren't worth a damn." No question about that here. But, to move on, Sunday is what I was looking at all week anyway, and I am offering up 3 games:

First, Take Pitt -3 at Minnesota. Yes, Minnesota has quite the winning streak going, but their only win against a remotely good opponent was against the Giants in a game they were out gained 2-1 by NY, but had 3 special teams/defensive touchdowns. Big Ben is now healthy for Pitt and they will be able to control this game much like they did against CHI last week. Minnesota is just not that good, their winning streak is all smoke and mirrors right now.

Pitt -3

Next, take Arizona -2 1/2 against Houston. I know it seems ridiculous to lay points with Arizona, but Houston is tanking. I am not one to say that they are throwing games, but if they aren't then they are just downright bad. Arizona has a bunch of players trying to prove that they deserve to be back next year as starters (see Warner, Arrington, Shipp, their entire defense, etc.). Houston will lose another at home and inch closer to getting Reggie Bush.

ARI -2 1/2

Finally, take Dallas. The Cowboys are hot right now and Washington, like the ones I explained above, are just not the better team in this one. They should be able to throw all day on WASH poor pass defense. WASH shuts down the run, but who cares b/c DAL can't run anyone. No more analysis b/c I am going with my gut on these picks today...stats only go so far. Take Dallas in this one.

DAL -2 1/2

These are winners. Go with them.
