first, to clarify for the birdman, from now on i'm going to give the strengths a level of 1-5 stars. 5 being the highest, where i feel there is a major play, one being an 'i always bet on monday night, who do i take here,' play. also, strongly agree with the birdman on the mountaineers (****).
but on to tonight it's hard to bet against an undefeated team, especially at home but that' s exactly what we're going to do tonight. we're gonna do it by taking PITT +8.5 indy has had there way against the league lately, covering six out of the last seven, and hitting the over five straight. but let's take a look at who they've been beating up; houston twice, a falling apart new england, the rams, sanfran, tenn., baltimore, cleveland. they also beat jax 10-3 at home week 2. are there any playoff teams in that bunch besides NE and maybe Cinci? (who will win the AFC east soley because the other teams are terrible (see. jets, the new york) and, let's look at who covered against them this year cleveland and jax, two teams with physical defenses. sure the colts can pour it on the texans and the rams. i've seen alot of talk with this great rationale; the bengals tried to stop the run last week and still got drilled, pitt is trying to stop the run, ergo, indy drills pitt. doesnt factor in that the steelers d is at a completely different level. colts are only 1-3 ats at home, steelers are 4-1 on the road. a TD+ is too much to give up in this situation. steelers control the tempo with their running game and eliminate edge. PITT +8.5. (**)
for anyone who thinks the steelers cover, gotta consider UNDER 47.5 (**)

1. what an absolutely brainless place for an onside kick.
2.why did the steelers kill the clock at the end of the game?
