While the Birdman and I finalize our 'Game of the Year' I am going to let you in on a little secret. Illinois quit about four weeks ago. You might remember that game where they got lit up at home against Penn State 63-10, yeah, that was when they gave up. At least that's my guess, it's possible that they quit earlier on in their eight game losing streak, i'm not sure. they've only covered once in the last two months. and let's not forget that they barely eeked past rutgers, they could easily be a one win team. Northwestern on the other hand is going to come in motivated after the pounding they took from ohio state last week. they're a respectable team that sometimes has turnover problems but that shouldnt matter against an illini team that has 2 takeaways in the last four games. oh, and illinois has been outscored 77-5 in the last two.
