one of the easiest ways to win games near the end of the season is to find games where you have a team playing for something versus a team that's already packed it in. we know i've been playing against the quitters the last few weeks. i'm defeated (3-0) in those plays where i've identified the quitter (syracuse, illinois, ohio), so we'll stay with it.
we're going up north to UConn. south florida is still playing for a shot at a BCS bid, while basketball season has already started for the huskies. there's been a lot of talk about USF playing in the cold weather but i dont think we need to worry about that when UCONN has absolutely given up. they're averaging only 12 pts a game over the last three and are coming off a 24-0 drilling by pitt. the same pitt team coached by wannstadt. the offense is falling apart and has become even more turnover prone as of late (over the last 4, turnover ratio -5) setting up a bad situation against the opportunistic bulls (+9 over their last 4). look for the bulls to get up early and then kill the clock w/their good ground game.
SOUTH FLORIDA -7.
